Who We Are

Founded in 2016, ABLE Kids believes in providing the most effective, evidence-based therapy services for children with autism throughout Georgia and the Carolinas.

Our sole passion is to provide children with the skills necessary to live a full and meaningful life. We work with children between the ages of 2 and 6 who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, requiring 35+ hours per week of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. We also offer Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise 1:1 RBT’s weekly
  • Provide parent and respite training
  • Assist director with professional development training
  • Conduct initial assessments in conjunction with the director and design the child’s specific curriculum based on results of assessment
  • Update and design data sheets
  • Write progress reports in conjunction with the director
  • Train new staff and provide on-going trainings

Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
  • Performing screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
  • Educating patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
  • Keeping detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
  • Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.

Full time

As a Registered Behavior Technician, one will provide ABA therapy to children ages six and under on the autism spectrum. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide 1:1 behavioral therapeutic services to clients
  • Attend regular supervision sessions with assigned BCBA
  • Assist with skills assessments and functional behavior assessments
  • Adhere to treatment plan written by BCBA for each client
  • Track necessary behavior data for each client
  • Remain enthusiastically and actively engaged with the client during the ABA session
  • Communicate professionally with family, team and supervisors
  • Attend training to meet the needs of the client

Full Time

Responsibilities include:

  • Engages with Community Physicians and Referral sources (including but not limited to: schools, daycares, hospitals, Urgent Cares, colleges, etc) on a regular basis in order to build and promote the counseling services provided by ABLE Kids Services LLC
  • Receives and responds to referrals from physicians and other community sources
  • Operates within scope of licensure and according to occupational therapy standards to assess & provide therapy unto the health of patients
  • Formulates short-term and long-term therapy plans for patients under care
  • Provides documentation of therapy sessions as per requirements for medical documentation along with all necessary billing information
  • Ensures accurate & consistent use of encounter forms & patient contacts to ensure accurate record keeping and billing
  • Provides Occupational Therapy sessions as needed
  • Provides, from time to time, Team In-service Training on relevant topics
  • Participates in team approaches to patient care
  • Maintains and updates professional knowledge and proficiency through continuing education, workshops, team meetings, etc
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Maintain a weekly average of 30 hours of session/therapy provided

Responsibilities include:

Answering phones, transferring calls as appropriate

Greet parents/patients and visitors to the office, ensure that guests are comfortable

Monitor and order inventory for the office and breakroom supplies

Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, faxes, mail and packages

File and organize records, invoices, and other important documentation

Submit work orders and schedule repairs for general office space and equipment

Order repairs for office equipment and maintenance, connect with and organize vendors
